Have you ever heard of cabin fever? If not, cabin fever
is a mental sickness that occurs when a person is trapped in one place for a
long amount of time, say a few months or so. Well, after a while the person
begins to show signs of things like paranoia and confusion. Then everything
goes bad when the paranoia takes over and the person goes mad. Meet Jack, he
is going to be the new care taker for the Overlook Hotel in the mountains of
Colorado during the winter along with his wife and son. His son has an imaginary
friend. The cook of the hotel discovers that the boy has a special power called
shining. The cook has it too. As time goes on, things start to get weird in
the hotel and Jack begins to suffer from Cabin Fever. You see, the last care
taker also suffered from cabin fever and murdered his wife and daughters because
they weren't obeying him. He had to put them in there place. Jack and the last
care taker, who took his own life after killing his family, start to have conversations.
The last care taker talks Jack into putting his wife and son in their place
too. Jack goes insane and attacks his wife and son. The sons run out into the
maze and Jack gets lost in it he freezes to death as his wife and son escape.
Just one last thing to say, avoid the river of blood on
the second floor.
It can get messy.
