Ladies and gentlemen, meet Norman Bates (played by Anthony Perkins in the original / Vince Vaughan in the remake). He is the owner of the Bates Motel, well, he and his mother. His, I mean their motel doesn't get much business since they built the new highway. But there was one night when a troubled woman happened by the motel. She had been running from something for a day or so now. All she wanted was a quiet place to sleep where no one would come looking for her. You see, she kind of left town with some money that wasn't hers. A lot of money. She was sure that her boss had noticed her and the money's absence by now. So, under an alias, she rented a room. She meet Norman and they got along rather nicely. After dinner (a sandwich) she decided to take a shower. She was in the shower when--
