"Get out of the water!"
Jaws
Jaws is Peter Benchley's classic tale of a man-eating Great
White Shark. No, make that the tale of THE man-eating Great White Shark.
Despite the many sequels, the original Jaws is the only great, or even good,
shark movie. The coastal community of Amity Island is terrorized by a string
of shark attacks. When community leaders refuse to close the beaches for fear
of losing tourist revenue, Sheriff Brody (Scheider) and two companions (Shaw
and Dreyfuss) head out to slay the beast. Now, I won't tell you how it ends
(assuming you're one of the dozen people who haven't seen it yet), but I will
say that I would NOT want to be the shark or the men hunting it.
