Vincent Price plays Professor Henry Jarrod, a wax figure creator,
the best in the world. At least, he was until he had a bit of a falling out
with his friend and partner of the house of wax he owned. During the squabble
between the two men, the building is set on fire and the wax figures begin to
melt. Finally, Jarrod is left in the building while it blazes for dead by his
partner.
But Professor Henry Jarrod escapes from the burning building
with his life, but not with his sanity. You see, he was disfigured in the fire,
his hands were badly burned. His hands were his life, his work was his life,
and now he can't create wax figures anymore. He quickly lost his mind. He reopened
the House of Wax and started using secret ways to make more wax figures. To
discover the secret, you will just have to watch it yourself.
