Lauri Strode was adopted at a very young age after her parents died. He life was fairly normal until Halloween night in 1978. She was attacked by a mad man that was 21 years old. This man's name was Michael Myers. His psychiatric doctor, Samuel Loomis, is the only one that knows Michael's secret. When Michael was six, on Halloween Night (1963), he killed his sister with a butcher's knife. After that he was committed. His parents had another child though, and her name was Lauri Myers. She was adopted by the Strode family after their untimely death. Michael had killed his sister and his parents were all ready dead, so only one other member of his family was alive, Lauri. He was determined to kill every member of his family, and was going to do it tonight. He tried, and was assumed dead approximately 5 times, but every time he got up and went back at it. The last scene in "Halloween" is him falling off of the balcony after being shot six times. When Dr. Loomis looks at the ground, Michael is gone.

Lauri was taken to the hospital after the horrible ordeal the first half of the night. She was in shock and had an injured arm and ankle. Dr. Loomis was going to stay by her side but instead was going to be transferred back to his hospital. But this was a mistake and the nightmare wasn't over yet. Michael was not dead, and he was determined to succeed in his mission that he had set for himself. He knew where Lauri was and he was going to kill her and anyone that got in his way. Michael got creative in this one too, that is, how he killed some of the people. Having medical supplies at his disposal didn't help much. After a while Dr. Loomis takes control and gets the car to go back to Haddonfield, Illinois, the town where all of this takes place. They discover that Michael has killed quite a few people and is going to kill Lauri. Lauri and Loomis trap Michael in a gas room and Lauri shoots his eyes out (she's quite the shot, ha ha ha). Loomis begins to turn on gas to get Michael to go in that direction because he can't see. Eventually the room is filled with gas and Lauri runs out as Loomis lights a match and the room explodes. Michael comes walking out in a big ball of fire and passes out. But don't worry folks, he's not dead, and neither is Loomis.
