A long time ago (1979) in a galaxy far, far away (the Tennessee
backwoods and various parts of Michigan), the Evil Dead saga began with five
friends traveling to a remote cabin in a 1973 Olds Delta 88 "classic".
Anyway... when they arrive at the cabin is when the fun begins, after some time
goes by of course. As they explore the cabin one of them finds a tape recording
with a passage from the Necronomican Ex Mortus. They play the tape and all
hell breaks loose. The first one to go is Sharon (Ellen Sandweiss). She runs
out into the middle of the woods and, well, um... lets just say that this is
the most interesting part of the movie. The forest gets a bit too friendly.
Anyway, she's possessed by this "evil dead" that was released by the
passage that was on the tape. After she goes, the rest of the group starts to
go. At the end Ashley, otherwise known as Ash (Bruce
Campbell) is the only one left, and somehow, he seems to save what was left
of him and the cabin. As soon as the sun rises and everything is over, Ash is
the only one left and everything is going to be ok...
or is it. :)
Anyway... This movie was made possible by the great imaginations
of Sam Raimi, Rob Tapert, and Bruce
Campbell, and the music is by the wonderful Joe LoDuca. Thanks you guys.
