Anthony Perkins was born in New York city and lived a full life. He boycotted the 1987 television movie Bates Motel (for good reason). His father and his son share the same name, Osgood Perkins, his son being the second. He was the creepiest but cutest and most wholesome person ever to be on screen as he took the role of Norman Bates in "Psycho". He died of AIDS in 1992.
