Johnny Depp
Born: June 9, 1963 in Owensboro, Kentucky
When Johnny was 15, his parents divorced. In an interview
to Cosmopolitan, he said "I don't even have a mental picture of the houses
we lived in because there were so many." He also dropped out of high school,
reason being because he was bored. He also told Cosmopolitan that "puberty was
very vague. I literally locked myself in a room and played guitar." When on
the set of "Edward Scissorhands" he met and fell in love with co-star Wynona
Ryder and they became engaged from 1990 to 1993. In 1994 he was arrested for
trashing a hotel room. On May 27, 1999 his daughter, Lily-Rose Melody Depp was
born with his love Vanessa Paradis.
Johnny received renewed fame in 2003 with a pair of classic "Johnny" roles. Firstly, he played
CIA agent Sands in Robert Rodriguez's Once Upon a Time in Mexico, the sequel to Desperado.
Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean was wildly popular among both fans and critics, especially
Johnny Depp's Captain Jack Sparrow. Depp was nominated for an Academy Award for the role.
