Bruce Campbell
Born: June 22,1958 in Royal Oak, Michigan
Besides being an accomplished actor, Bruce Campbell has played
the part of director, producer, writer, editor, and was even the supervising
sound editor for Thou Shalt Not Kill... Except (1985). From his beginning in
various Super 8 movies and Evil Dead, to his current role as Autolycus on Hercules
and Xena, Bruce has shown a variety of characters from different places, eras,
and even worlds. Perhaps you recognize him from the Evil Dead trilogy as that
sometimes cowardly, sometimes heroic Ash. Or maybe you've seen him on the soap
opera Generations, or any number of other characters. Bruce has often been accompanied
by childhood friend Sam Raimi, along with
Sam's brother Ted, Robert Tapert, and musical talent
Joe Lo Duca. Bruce also authored his own book, a biography entitled
If Chins Could Kill: Confessions of a "B" Movie Actor. I have to say,
I love this book. If your a fan of the his movies, you love the book too! And if we
could come up with one word to sum up this funny man: Groovy!
