Anthony Hopkins
Born: December 31, 1937 in Port Talbot, West Glamorgan, Wales
Anthony was born to Richard Arthur and Muriel Hopkins. He was
a slow learner academically speaking. Joined the National Theatre under Sir
Laurence Olivier. Hopkins won two Emmy Awards; One as Bruno Hauptmann in "The
Lindbergh Kidnapping Case" (1976), then as Adolph Hitler in "The Bunker" (1981). He
has also won a Best Actor Academy Award as Hannibal Lecter in "The Silence of
the Lambs" (1991) He was knighted in 1993.
